Traci Gillig will be earning her Ph.D. in communication from USC Annenberg at Friday’s commencement, but she won’t have long to celebrate. She’s already been hired as an assistant professor of communication at Washington State University.

One of Britain’s most vibrant voices on international affairs, the politics of identity and issues related to social justice, Hirsch will share her multi-platform media expertise with USC Annenberg students in both Los Angeles and London.
