USC Annenberg alumna Callie Schweitzer was honored with a spot on Forbes’ annual “30 under 30 in Media.”
The list is compliled by nominations from media industry sources, as well as industry experts who serve as judges.
According to Forbes, 24 year-old Schweitzer knows “that it’s not about climbing the career ladder anymore; it’s about catching a ride on a rocket ship.”
Vox Media, where Schweitzer is the director of marketing and special projects, is a “kind of fast-growing [company that] careers and reputations are made on.”
Prior to working at Vox Media, Schweitzer was the Deputy Publisher for Talking Points Memo, an online political news organization.
While at USC Annenberg, Schweitzer served as Editor-in-Chief of Neon Tommy and graduated in 2011 with B.A. in Journalism.
