The Knight Program in Religion and Media, led by journalism professor and Knight Chair holder Diane Winston, has been awarded a three-year, $600,000 grant from the Henry Luce Foundation to promote innovative reporting on religion and international affairs.
The grant will support a collaboration among the Knight Program, the Annenberg Innovation Lab and the online news site GlobalPost to enhance and expand coverage of religion and international relations by fostering journalism across multi-media platforms, promoting academic research, providing discussion opportunities for journalists and scholars, and developing cutting-edge online resources that elucidate issues, trends and history.
The grant begins this month.
