Annenberg Press journals publish special features

 

Annenberg Press' International Journal of Communication (IJoC) and the Information Technologies & International Developement (ITID) recently published multiple special feature sections. The IJoC, edited by university professor and holder of the Wallis Annenberg Chair Manuel Castells and School of Communication director Larry Gross, published "The Arab Spring & the Role of ICTs" and "Communication as the Discipline for the 21st Century." "The Arab Spring & the Role of ICTs" special feature section highlighted a thorough analysis of the recent Arab revolution and the effects social networking had in bringing about the ending of autocratic regimes. The "Communication as the Discipline for the 21st Century"special feature section discussed "the critical importance of communication scholarship in the contemporary world." The ITID published "Mobile Telephony," a special issue that "showcases new research on little-explored aspects of the mobile telephony revolution." Read more from IJoC here. Read more from ITID here.
