Thomas for her series on predatory healthcare debt-collection in Memphis. Visiting Professor of Journalism Mark Schoofs will lead a Q&A discussion with Thomas on the impact of her work, including helping to erase nearly $12 million in debt owed by more than 5,300 defendants in suits brought by Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare.
