Seib also contributed a chapter titled "Public Diplomacy versus Terrorism," in the book Media and Terrorism: Global Perspective, edited by Des Freedman and Daya Kishan Thussu. Seib has further analyzed these issues in a CPD Perspectives on Public Diplomacy paper titled "Public Diplomacy, New Media, and Counter-Terrorism.
