Reeves writes about the "Millenial" generation

Journalism professor Richard Reeves wrote an article for Truthdig dissecting the optimistic view of the "Millenial" generation as presented in Winograd and Haig's new book Millennial Momentum—How a New Generation Is Re-Making America. "Lost Decade...Lost Generation," argues that the future being built by those born between 1982 and 2003 may not be as bright as Winograd and Haig have predicted. Reeves challenges the progressive nature Millenial Momentum refers to with a quote from a recent New York Times article: "Median income fell across all working-age categories...but the sharpest drop was among young working Americans, ages 15 to 24, who experienced a decline of 9 percent." According to Winograd and Haig, this is a critical time of change for America and the Millenials are a "civic generation," "the critical generation for better or worse."
