People who have experienced homelessness first hand tell their stories to homeless advocates and Los Angeles officials. Please join USC Annenberg for a this rare and revealing encounter. Hosted by Annenberg Professors Mary Murphy and Sandy Tolan and their students in the all-Annenberg homeless reporting project.
Speakers include:
- Janet Kim, SELAH neighborhood homeless coalition
- Craig Mitchell, Los Angeles Superior Court judge and founder, Skid Row Running Club
- Amy Perkins, Director of Temporary Housing, City of Los Angeles
- Pete White, Los Angeles Community Action Network
- And people who know first hand the root causes, threat and reality of living on the streets of Los Angeles, including Angela Ade, Demetri Bryant, and Diana Cruz
