After starting his academic career at USC Annenberg 15 years ago, professor Hernán Galperin has recently returned from Universidad de San Andrés in Argentina, where he founded and directed the Centro de Tecnología y Sociedad. His research focuses on online labor markets, digital inclusion and telecom regulation in Latin America.
USC Annenberg Ph.D. students are intellectuals who seek to create and design innovative and theory-driven work. With the help of experts university-wide, they have been able to organize dissertations on notable topics. "Discoveries" is a story series highlighting their research.
