The Institute for Diversity & Empowerment at Annenberg (IDEA) and USC Annenberg Third Space will host and co-present the November 18th installment of the USC El Centro Chicano’s Pan Dulce Speaker Series, featuring an advance screening of Fox’s new animated series “ Bordertown,” set to break barriers for Latino talent and to “stir the pot of the U.S.’s supposedly enlightened race relations like no other show has in a generation.” USC Annenberg Professor Robert Hernandez to co-moderate the post-screening Q&A with El Centro Chicano’s William Vela. Panelists to include series creator/co-executive producer Mark Hentemann, actor Nicholas Gonzalez, celebrated Chicano cartoonist Lalo Alcaraz, and USC Annenberg Professor Josh Kun.
