LA Observed features the relaunch of Online Journalism Review

The recent relaunch of USC Annenberg’s Online Journalism Review was featured on L.A. Observed on Feb. 27.

Since its launch in 1998, OJR has established itself as a publication that has "thoughtful, in-depth reporting and commentaries on the changing media landscape," said Editor Brian Frank.

The new website, however, has a “fresh look and even more of the content you’ve come to trust.”

The first article posted by OJR since the revamped website went live on Feb. 25 was an op-ed by Journalism Director Geneva Overholser about the importance of public interest when covering the recent issue of gun control.

"Our intent and goal is to make sure OJR continues to be a strategic voice in the national conversation and dialogue about digital journalism," said USC Annenberg Journalism Professor Marc Cooper in a story on the USC Annenberg website. "That’s the important role that OJR can and does play."
