Both the School of Communication and School of Journalism will welcome new faculty this year. Kiran Dhillon will be lecturer in the School of Communication and associate director of debate and forensics for the USC Trojan Debate Squad. Ulrike Gretzel will be a Visiting Professor of Professional Practice in the School of Journalism.

Interviewed in May just before commencement, M.S. Journalism graduate Daniel Tran, reflects on his final project and identifies things he might have done differently and which professors helped him along in the process.

Wilson opened the event by telling the students that it was natural to be nervous, but added, “in technical terms, I would say ‘chill’—we’re all here to help you.”

Every year, while incoming students settle in, Move-In Day @ USC Annenberg offers the parents of the new arrivals a chance to chat and mingle with faculty members and staff.
