Creativity meets critical thinking: Setting goals for influencer marketing with Freddy Nager

Full time Lecturer of Communication and Associate Director of the MS in Digital Social Media program Freddy Tran Nager will illustrate why critical thinking is essential in social media, and explain the problem with such typical influence measurements as “impressions” and “engagement.” He will then describe how to set more valuable goals based on the 3B’s of Brand, Buzz, and Behavior.

Nager has taught at USC Annenberg since 2012, with courses in influencer marketing, website development and entrepreneurial communication. In addition, he was the founding director of The Annenberg Agency, a student-staffed consultancy serving nonprofit organizations.
