Join USC Annenberg Dean Willow Bay and School of Journalism Director Gordon Stables for the presentation of the 2023 Selden Ring Award for Investigative Reporting to Reuters for their project, “Nightmare in Nigeria.”
Reuters Enterprise Team Editor Julie Marquis will join Visiting Professor of Journalism Mark Schoofs and Ring Foundation Fellow and journalism master’s student Grace Murray to discuss the impact of the series that revealed the secrets behind the Nigerian military’s long campaign to crush the nation’s Islamist insurgency.
