First Generation Scholarship
A monetary award for first-generation students who secure unpaid summer internships.
Amount: $2,000
Eligibility: Currently enrolled first-generation college student in an undergraduate degree program at USC with a minimum 2.8 GPA; Graduation date between December 2019 – May 2022; Secured internship by 12:00 pm on Friday, April 5, 2019; Must work at least six weeks at an organization, in any field or industry; Must have written proof of internship, including intern supervisor name/contact information.

USC Africa Student Fund
The USC Africa Student Fund is a scholarship intended to support undergraduate student travel to African countries for study, research, service-based learning and internships. Students who have identified a project or program are invited to apply with this funding in mind. Winners may receive full or partial funding to help cover airfare costs associated with their proposed project or program.

Deadline: The online application is available in October and February each year. Students should apply no more than 10 months prior to their departure date, and preferably within six months of leaving. A select group or recipients will be chosen during each application period.

USC Dream Dollars Program
A unique award for USC undergraduate students who secure unpaid summer internships with a non-profit or government organization.
Award: $1,500
Eligibility: Maintain good academic standing; Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at USC; Former USC Dream Dollar recipients are not eligible; If you receive additional USC summer awards from research grants, foundations, or scholarships, you will not be eligible to participate; Graduation date must be between December 2019 and May 2022; Must have secured an unpaid internship prior to applying for USC Dream Dollars.

The Jake Olson Vision Award 
Amount: $2,500 and up per year or during degree program
Eligibility: Undergraduate or graduate students enrolled and in good standing at USC in any school or field of study who have overcome significant hardship or challenges in life to attend USC.  Challenges may be physical, health-related, financial, familial obligations, geopolitical, or other adverse circumstances or conditions.  Those who demonstrate grit, heart, and high-performance mindset skills are encouraged to apply.

JEP Community Service Awards

Info: Each year the JEP Community Service Awards are given to students that have devoted a significant amount of their time to community service projects and programs that help the University community and the surrounding neighborhoods. These awards highlight USC's devotion to community service and display the shared commitment to volunteerism held among members of the Trojan family. Skull and Dagger Foundation Scholarship
Amount: Four (4) $5,000 scholarships

Eligibility: Skull and Dagger Foundation Scholarships are awarded to students (graduate or undergraduate) who have demonstrated significant campus and/or community leadership. While there is no minimum GPA required to apply, academic excellence is expected.

USC Black Alumni Scholarship Association
Amount: Scholarships range from $3,000 to $12,000 for undergraduates and from $1,000 to $12,500 for graduate students
Eligibility: Applicants for awards must be incoming freshman or continuing USC and/or transfer students. They must be planning to enroll in full-time, undergraduate or graduate courses of study. The minimum cumulative G.P.A. for this scholarship is 2.5. Applicants should exemplify commitment and identification with the African-American community. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic and personal merit and demonstrated involvement within the African-American community. Transfer students will be reviewed and selected after they have been admitted. Incoming Freshman applicants will also be considered for the scholarship upon verification of admission to USC for the upcoming school year. Students receiving tuition remission are not eligible.
