Immigration and the Changing Complexion of the Nation

USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, in partnership with the Institute for Diversity and Empowerment at Annenberg (IDEA) and the Center for Communication Leadership & Policy (CCLP), invites the public to a panel moderated by Robert Scheer in his class COMM 310: Media and Society.

Panelists include:

Jose Antonio Vargas - Pulitzer Prize Winner, producer and director of Documented and White People, and founder and editor of #EmergingUS, a digital magazine in partnership with The LA Times.

Janet Yang - Golden Globe and Emmy winner, named one of the "50 Most Powerful Women in Hollywood" by the HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, producer of The People vs. Larry Flynt, The Joy Luck Club, and many others.

Roberto Suro - USC Annenberg and USC Price faculty, director of the Tomas Rivera Policy Institute, CCLP faculty fellow, former director of the Pew Hispanic Center, and author of Strangers Among Us: Latino Lives in a Changing America, among other books.

The event will include a special screening of Documented.
