Austin Roy (he/him) holds a master’s in communication management from USC, a post-baccalaureate in writing from UC Berkeley, and a BA in philosophy and cognitive science from USC. At USC, Roy’s research examined variation in consumer perceived ethicality between deontological and teleological consumers.
Roy has worked at Nielsen conducting predictive analytic research for a variety of CPG, QSR, and Bev-Al brands (e.g. Starbucks, Gatorade, and WalMart) and at Morning Consult conducting syndicated tracker research and custom research for a variety of tech brands (e.g. Google, Apple, and Snapchat).
He currently teaches American literature and a course on Joan Didion at Flintridge Preparatory School.
