On the thirtieth anniversary of the release of A League of Their Own, Maybelle Blair, one of the last remaining players from the league, will discuss the movie based on her life. Kat Williams who has developed a significant body of research on the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League will discuss the history of the league and the film’s depiction of Maybelle and the other players. Part-Time Lecturer of Communication Julianna Kirschner will host this session, which will include a Q and A.
