
‘Slaves for Peanuts’: A conversation with Jori Lewis

Senegal-based journalist Jori Lewis will discuss her book, Slaves for Peanuts: A Story of Conquest, Liberation, and a Crop That Changed History. Lewis will discuss the process of mining history for narrative nonfiction, and covering West Africa as a journalist, with Annenberg’s Afua Hirsch.
