What is M{2e}?

Directed by Gabriel Kahn, Media, Economics & Entrepreneurship—M{2e}—is an interdisciplinary program  and undergraduate minor that studies the economic forces reshaping the communications landscape. We combine your media skills with business skills to help you launch your own career in the industry. We work with leading companies in the field to provide hands-on opportunities to students who want to lead the next wave of change in media.

We offer a curriculum with the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at USC’s Marshall School of Business to bring together an understanding of media with an understanding of economics and business.

Women’s Leadership Society

The Women’s Leadership Society (WLS) at USC Annenberg M{2e} provides support for female professional advancement at the intersection of technology, media, and entertainment. WLS sponsors events, hosts workshops, leads off-site retreats and facilitates online discussion. All of these activities are designed to build self-confidence, cultivate community, deepen knowledge about career opportunities in the information economy and connect WLS members with power brokers and change agents from around the world.
