The Tiziano Project, which is run by numerous USC Annenberg alumni and provides struggling regions with journalism training and equipment to promote global collaborative journalism, launched StoriesFrom at the Dokufest 2012 film festival in Prizren, Kosovo. The website is a forum that allows people from all over the world to create and share documentaries online and is funded by a 2011 Knight News Challenge grant. “StoriesFrom changes the way communities create and consume stories on a global scale,” The Tiziano Project Executive Director Jon Vidar (M.A. Communication Management '06) said. “This site presents underrepresented views in a reliable and beautiful package.” The Tiziano Project also conducted a two-week training program to help people in Kosovo tell their stories using iPads.
