Graduate student writes about Wi-Fi policy in L.A.

Graduate journalism student Arika Sato published an Oct. 12 article titled "With No City-Provided Wi-Fi, Time Warner Coverage Begins." "In 2007, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa proposed a plan to provide free wireless Internet access throughout the city's 498 square miles by 2009, " Sato wrote. "...But now, two years after not reaching the goal, one private company has begun to fill those shoes on its own." Her article is the product of a blog about policy in Los Angeles co-produced by USC Annenberg and KCET-TV. Read "With No City-Provided Wi-Fi, Time Warner Coverage Begins"
