Communication and journalism professor Josh Kun will join a panel of artists, scholars and activists to discuss issues and experiences related to border issues. "From Tijuana to Gaza to Bosnia: Rethinking Borders in a 21st Century World" will be held at the central Los Angeles public library on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. Kun, who also directs The Norman Lear Center's Popular Music Program, and the other panelists will talk about redefining borderlands as places of cultural mingling rather than places of militarization. Other panelists include Krzysztof Czyźewski, Dorit Cypis, Marcos Ramírez ERRE, Rubén Martínez and Ofelia Zepeda.
