Featuring a cover of the Lorde song, “Team,” the video promotes the October 26th Campaign, a movement led by Saudi Arabian men and women, urging the government to lift the ban on women driving.
Cook and Shapiro produced and directed the music video.
The Buzzfeed post, which featured an aggregation of social media and video content in support of the campaign, referred to Reagan and Shapiro’s video as the “official song" of the movement.
Cook is a videographer for the USC Annenberg Center on Public Diplomacy. Shapiro is a contributing researcher for the center’s Public Diplomacy in the News team. Both are in their second year at USC Annenberg.
