DanceMap LA is a breakthrough journalism project, on which two years of USC Annenberg Arts Journalism Masters students worked.The first comprehensive census of Los Angeles dancers and choreographers, DanceMapLA is, as well, a website that maps the city's dance life and hour-by-hour tracks the dance articles that most of the world is reading. Launched in 2015, DanceMapLA brought the city's Hollywood dancers together with its concert-stage dancers and its street dancers as never before for a Dancers Forum IV event that headlined Nigel Lythgoe, Toni Basil and others in conversation with Sasha Anawalt.
