Tien Nguyen has been writing about food and culture for over a decade. She is the co-author of two books: the New York Times bestseller L.A. Son: My Life, My City, My Food with chef Roy Choi (Anthony Bourdain Books/Ecco, 2013) and Flavor Bombs: The Umami Ingredients That Make Taste Explode (Rux Martin Books/Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2018) with restaurateur Adam Fleischman.
