Kate Flynn Jacobs is a communications consultant specializing in strategic planning and communication, public relations writing, and media and presentation training. Her professional experience includes media relations, speechwriting, communications planning, crisis communications, annual report writing, and corporate newspaper editing. Clients include Microsoft, General Mills, AT&T and Johnson & Johnson, among many others. She has won awards from the Public Relations Society of America and the International Association of Business Communicators. For 20 years, she has taught at USC’s Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism, focusing on undergraduate and graduate Public Relations theory and writing courses. She has a master’s in Communication Management from the Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism. Her teaching encompasses public relations writing as well as multimedia and digital content strategy.
