Professor Sasha Anawalt and Tien Nguyen, co-author of the award-winning LA. Son: My Life, My City, My Food with chef Roy Choi, will introduce the film, City of Gold about the late Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist and food critic, Jonathan Gold. Their subject is Los Angeles. Their purpose is to welcome Masters students, embarking on the Summer Immersion course, and to guide them toward discovering the city as its next generation of explorers. Q and A will follow the film screening, and snacks will be provided.
