A conversation with Nicole A’Beckett: How to be on the SameSide for equal pay

M{2e}’s Women’s Leadership Society (WLS) is pleased to host Nicole A’Beckett, co-founder and CEO of SameSide, for a conversation about the pay gap. Nicole will share her approach to connecting non-profits to businesses and individuals who want to support their cause.

SameSide puts the party back into politics. As the platform has grown, SameSide has become known for its unique types of activism events, including dinners, cocktail parties, brunches, pool parties and yoga classes. Geared at guests aged 25–45 who may not have been involved in political activism. SameSide focuses on the power of engagement, allowing campaigns and advocacy organizations to leverage supporters to create interesting experiences, organizations can unlock political activism.

She will also discuss #millionforamillion, her mission to send out 1 million messages about equal pay to decision-makers by 2020. The chat will cover why it happens, how it affects women of all backgrounds and how to get involved.
