Join USC Annenberg for a conversation with the ground-breaking filmmaker, Stanley Nelson. He is the director of Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool, The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution, The Black Press: Soldiers Without Swords, Freedom Summer, The Murder of Emmit Till, and many other feature-length films that shine new light on both familiar and under-explored aspects of the American past.
This event will be moderated by Afua Hirsch, visiting professor of journalism and Wallis Annenberg Chair in Journalism and Communication.
