Join Politico Editor and USC Annenberg’s R. Rebecca Donatelli Expert-in-Residence in Political Analysis and Media Carrie Budoff Brown to learn more about her experiences as a journalist and as the leader of one of the most bustling and expanding newsrooms on the planet. The conversation will be moderated by Christina Bellantoni, professor of professional practice and director of USC Annenberg’s Media Center.
Brown, one of the first hires at Politico, also has served as managing editor of Politico Europe and as a reporter covering the Senate, Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign and the White House. She was a recipient of the 2012 Merriman Smith Award for Excellence in Presidential Coverage under pressure in the print category.
Brown began her career in journalism at the York (Pennsylvania) Daily Record in the summer before her freshman year in college.
