‘Talking Books’ with Harry Litman: A live podcast taping

Harry Litman is hosting a live taping of his podcast series Talking Books with guests Peter Baker and Susan Glasser to talk about their book The Divider: Trump in the White House, 2017-2021.

Harry Litman is a lawyer, law professor, legal commentator, and CCLP Senior Fellow. He is the creator, host, and executive producer of the Talking Feds podcast, a roundtable with prominent political and legal figures discussing issues of the day as well as foundational issues in law and government. The “Talking Books” series comprises extended interviews with authors of the leading books of the day.

Peter Baker is the chief White House correspondent for The New York Times, responsible for reporting on President Biden, the fifth president he has covered. He previously wrote about Presidents Donald J. Trump and Barack Obama for The Times and Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush for The Washington Post.

Susan B. Glasser is a staff writer at The New Yorker, where she writes a weekly column on life in Washington. Glasser has served as the top editor of several Washington publications; most recently, she founded the award-winning Politico Magazine and went on to become the editor of Politico throughout the 2016 election cycle. She previously served as the editor-in-chief of Foreign Policy, which won three National Magazine Awards, among other honors, during her tenure.

The Divider details the presidency of Donald Trump, with a focus on the divisions that occurred both among the White House staff and with international partners.
