This panel in partnership with Common Sense Media will explore what the Democratic plan for families and children should be in the year 2024. The Biden Administration passed a temporary expansion of the child tax credit, strengthened protections for youth in the child welfare system, and eased to process to keep American families together by helping certain noncitizen spouses and children apply for lawful permanent residence. Will these policies continue in 2024? What should a term under President Harris do to combat emerging threats posed to children online?  How do the Republican and Democratic plans for families differ? These questions and more will be answered by an expert panel, who will also take audience questions.
