Lunch with a Leader featuring Blain Skinner from the Los Angeles Lakers

Blain Skinner will begin his 38th season with the Los Angeles Lakers in the Fall of 2018. He is the team’s executive director of Corporate Partnerships & Client Management. He joined California Sports, Inc., the parent company that owned The Forum (a.k.a. the Great Western Forum), the Lakers, Kings, Strings, Lazers, a variety of other sports and entertainment properties in 1982. In his current position, Skinner is responsible for sponsorship/partnership sales that include media/advertising, signage, rights & branding, digital/social/mobile, fan engagement, intellectual property, promotional, hospitality/events/VIP experiences and community assets. He is a charter member of Westcoast Sports Associates (WSA); an organization dedicated to enhancing the sporting experience for economically disadvantaged youths and was also a Reserve Deputy Sheriff in Orange County’s Professional Services Program. Skinner received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California in 1982.
