How do I obtain my ceremony photos?
Professional photography service, Grad Images, will be at the ceremony taking pictures of each graduate. Several days after the ceremony, the photographer will send, via regular mail and email, free color proofs to each graduate with an offer to purchase prints.

Will the graduation ceremony be live-streamed or posted online as videos afterward?
The main USC ceremony and the USC Annenberg ceremony will be live-streamed. The live-stream of the main ceremony will be available to view on USC’s Homepage (usc.edu) starting at 8:30 am The live-stream of the USC Annenberg ceremony will be available to view at annenberg.usc.edu/commencement starting at 11 am. What’s the best way to share my commencement day photos on social media?

What items cannot be brought inside the Shrine Auditorium?
The following items are prohibited in the satellite ceremony venues: large bags, backpacks, flowers, balloons, fog horns, whistles and other noisemakers, and outside food and beverages. Individuals will not be allowed to enter the venue with these objects. Leave them in your car or at home as they will be confiscated at the door.

What do I need to know about security at the Shrine Auditorium?
As is standard with events at large venues, all guests must go through a metal detector to enter the ceremony.

The doors of the Shrine Auditorium open to guests at 10:00 am. We highly recommend that you plan accordingly and allow extra time for getting through security and entering the venue. Doors will close at 10:50 am as Commencement will begin right at 11:00 am. Doors will not reopen until after the graduates have processed into the auditorium and taken their seats.

How do I obtain my tickets for the USC Annenberg commencement ceremony?
From March 21 through April 15, you may claim your four tickets at uscannenberg.universitytickets.com. You should use your USC email address and USC student ID number (with no dashes) to access the site. Graduates do not need a ticket to enter the venue.

Between March 21 and April 15, you may also request up to two additional tickets at uscannenberg.universitytickets.com. For students who do not anticipate using all of their tickets, we request that you donate your tickets back to the available pool so we can help fulfill additional ticket requests. We are working to make every open seat available to your guests. For more information on ticketing, click here.

I am having difficulty obtaining my tickets through the University Tickets site. What should I do?
First, please ensure you have used your USC email address and have entered your USC student ID number with no dashes. If you are still unable to complete your ticket registration, please write to ascevent@usc.edu and we will happy to assist you.

What if I don’t register and claim my tickets by April 15?
If you fail to register and claim your tickets by April 15, you will forfeit your tickets. For more information on ticketing, click here.

Do children need tickets?
Children aged 2 and under do not need tickets, but must sit on an adult's lap.

How will my additional ticket requests be fulfilled?
During the week of April 23, requests for additional tickets will be fulfilled based on the number of remaining tickets. At this time, you will receive an email requiring you to claim additional tickets within 48 hours. All remaining tickets will be allocated to student guests. I forgot to save my tickets or lost my ticket, what should I do?
If you do not immediately save or print your tickets, you can access them by logging back in to uscannenberg.universitytickets.com and clicking “My Account” and selecting “Print e-tickets.”

Will USC Annenberg’s commencement ceremony program be different?
No. As in past years, each graduate’s name will be called, they will walk across the stage, receive their diploma cover, and a professional still photographer will capture the moment. This year’s ceremony will be enhanced by the technology and production value offered at the Shrine, including large video screens adjacent to the stage.

Where is USC Annenberg’s commencement ceremony and when will it begin?
USC Annenberg’s commencement ceremony will begin promptly at 11 am at the Shrine Auditorium. The venue’s doors will open to guests at 10 am and graduate check-in will begin the Shrine’s Expo Hall at 10:15 am

I have additional guests who are attending the satellite ceremony. How will they be accommodated?
We will also host additional family members and guests in our two buildings —Wallis Annenberg Hall (ANN) and the Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism (ASC) — where they can experience the entire ceremony on big screens in a comfortable, indoor setting. For families with young children, these venues will offer a more relaxed atmosphere.

Who is invited to the post USC Annenberg satellite ceremony receptions?
After the USC Annenberg ceremony concludes at 1 pm, graduates are invited to continue to celebrate with family, friends, faculty and staff at receptions hosted by the schools. Everyone is welcome. More details to follow soon.

If one of my guests is in a wheelchair. Will his/her seating be any different?
We have a section reserved for wheelchairs. One additional guest will be able to sit with him/her in this section. You may request accessible seating when you register for your tickets at uscannenberg.universitytickets.com. If you have any further questions, please contact ascevent@usc.edu and we will happy to assist you.
