Magdalayna Drivas (she/her) is a doctoral student at USC Annenberg, where her research focuses on the psychological effects of video games and human-computer interaction. Her current research investigates how technological affordances influence player experience in online games.
Prior to attending USC, Drivas received her MA in media studies from the Pennsylvania State University and BA in journalism from Baylor University. Her research has been published in Psychology of Popular Media and presented at the annual conferences of the International Communication Association, National Communication Association, and ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI).
