Victoria Valenzuela

Vice President of Social Impact, Women’s Leadership Society

Victoria Valenzuela is a rising senior majoring in creative writing. Outside of her role as vice president of social impact at Women’s Leadership Society at USC Annenberg, Valenzuela is also the founder and president of the Wrongful Convictions Club USC, a reporter with the Daily Trojan, a writer with Haute Magazine, a student committee member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, and most recently did an internship with BuzzFeed News. She also has a three-year-old son who inspires her to work harder, and a german shepherd puppy named Chase. She aspires to be an investigative journalist with a focus on social justice issues, corruption, and telling local and under-represented stories, particularly with criminal justice and prison issues.
