Karla Hernandez

Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, Karla graduated with a BA in Communication from USC Annenberg. Karla's involvement with the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative began in the Fall of 2018 and has since contributed to an array of projects from Animation to Top Grossing. She has had the opportunity to directly work on data pertaining to behind-the-scenes representation across several projects while also closely working on the Inclusion in the Recording Studio project. She hopes to be able to make significant contributions to the inclusion and representation of women and BIPOC across different sectors of the entertainment industry.

Karla has an avid interest in animation and pop culture within and outside of the United States. Outside of work you can probably catch her engaging in different crafting activities such as knitting and crocheting, reading a book or playing video games.
