Vice President of Communications, Americas, Volvo Cars

Kelly is the Vice President of Communications, Americas at Volvo Cars, where she leads a team responsible for corporate communications, lifestyle and brand PR, internal communications, as well as content and experiential programs that support the brand across North and South America.

Prior to joining Volvo Cars, she held several communications leadership roles in the retail industry, most recently leading communications at Poshmark, the secondhand ecommerce platform, and before that leading corporate communications and reputation at Levi Strauss & Co. Kelly previously led communications for several initiatives at Google, including Google Fiber and Google.org, as well as Omidyar Network, a philanthropy focused on impact through technology. Across industries, her focus is driving narratives that fuel business outcomes, simplify complex ideas, and bring brands into cultural conversation in an honest and authentic way.

Kelly has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at Berkeley and a BA in English from Duke University. She previously served on the board of Justice Outside, a nonprofit promoting environmental justice, and currently serves on the USC Center for Public Relations Board of Advisors.
