The Charlotta Bass Journalism and Justice Lab invites you to our lunch and learn series featuring guest Niele Anderson. Anderson is a multimedia journalist and the founder of P.L.B. Media Inc., a media production company that focuses on curating and producing content from the Black perspective and experience.

In 2019, she met with executives Jack Abernethy and Stephen Brown from Fox Television and inspired them to dedicate their first OTT/Streaming platform to Black content, which led to the creation of Fox Soul.

Anderson has over 20 years of experience mixing community, politics, and entertainment together through print, digital, radio, and television. Current and previous clients and partners include The Shade Room, In the Black Network, Black Press USA, Black Lives Matter Grassroots, The Los Angeles Sentinel, Radio One, Fox Soul, and others.

You can catch Anderson Monday to Friday as co-host of the Black Press USA’s daily podcast, “Let It Be Known,” where she brings perspective and commentary to the headlines that are impacting the Black community.
