Where are you from and what were you doing before enrolling in graduate school?
I’m originally from London, but I grew up in Geneva, Switzerland, where I attended an international boarding school for ten years. I later moved to Los Angeles to pursue my undergraduate studies at USC, where I majored in communication and minored in cinematic arts. After graduating, I worked for two years as a Social Media Strategist at Fabletics, specializing in celebrity collaborations. These experiences laid the foundation for my decision to further my education in PR and Advertising at Annenberg.
How did you learn of the degree program and why did you choose USC Annenberg?
My undergraduate experience at USC Annenberg was incredible, and I developed lasting relationships with my professors and peers. When I decided to enhance my PR and advertising skills after working at Fabletics, USC Annenberg was the natural choice. The reputation of the Public Relations and Advertising Master's program, combined with my familiarity with USC Annenberg’s supportive and innovative environment, made it the perfect fit for me.
What have you enjoyed the most about the degree program?
One of the highlights of the program has been the close collaboration with my professors. USC Annenberg’s hands-on approach to learning is truly unparalleled, and it’s inspiring to hear about my professors’ real-world experiences and how PR and Advertising can take on so many forms across industries. I’ve also loved the guest lectures from leading industry professionals. For instance, in one class, representatives from Zeno Group — an award-winning integrated communications agency — spoke about their roles and shared insights into their work, which was truly impactful.
