Where are you from and what were you doing before enrolling in graduate school?
I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. Before enrolling in graduate school, I was a full-time student pursuing my undergraduate degree in Communication and Public Affairs at the California State University Chico, where I was a part of the women's basketball team. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in May and started here at USC in August.
How did you learn of the degree program and why did you choose USC Annenberg?
As a kid, I had always dreamed of attending the film school here at USC but I chose to pursue my athletic career instead. However, after I made the decision to pursue my master's degree, I explored Annenberg's dynamic curriculum and discovered my passion for Public Relations and Advertising. After doing my research, I knew that Annenberg and this program was the only place that I wanted to continue my education.
What have you enjoyed the most about the degree program?
I have enjoyed how innovative and timely our curriculum is. Annenberg is extremely proactive in the creation of classes and in keeping up with the current industry trends and technological innovations. I am beyond grateful to be a part of the Trojan Family every day.
