Vijay Chattha is the founder and CEO of VSC, a strategic content and communications firm based in San Francisco and Brooklyn.

Chattha has pioneered an aggressive and creative approach to brand building as an investor and marketing partner, with a 17-year track record establishing dominant technology brands across AI, automation, consumer platforms, fintech, enterprise software, health tech, mobile, and venture capital. The firm has represented 3 IPOs, 7 unicorns, and 46 startups that have exited, in addition to 800+ brands, such as Softbank, Sony, Admob, Sequoia, Mammoth Diagnostics, Ada Health, Mopub, Tile, Molekule, Fastly, Osmo, Honeybook, PAX Labs and more.

Chattha has moderated several dozen events and conferences around the world and regularly conducts live Q&As known as ‘Freestyles’ with some of the firm’s inspiring network of investors, founders, and government officials. Guests have included Chief of Staff for SF District Attorney Cristine DeBerry, former Facebook Director of Corporate Comms Larry Yu, venture capital investors Tim Chang and James Currier, entrepreneur Noosheen Hashemi, and the youngest congressional candidate ever, Erin Schrode. 

When he’s not creating headlines for his clients, Chattha is rocking the mic as founder and frontman of the Punjabi funk hip-hop band BlackMahal, which has toured across the country. Chattha’s commitment to the preservation and celebration of Sikh culture led him to launch The Smithsonian’s first exhibit on Sikh artifacts and heritage in 2001, as well as speak at the annual Sikh American Chamber of Commerce Gala

Chattha is also the co-founder and chairman of Project Ahimsa, a leading global nonprofit effort to empower youth through music. Project Ahimsa has impacted over 10,000 children across 14 countries and distributed over 100 financial and human capital support grants.
