Kedi Zhou's research draws broadly from feminist theories, feminist science and technology studies, surveillance, and cultural studies. Her current project looks at assisted reproductive technologies and their implications for kinship, care and reproductive justice. She also writes on K-pop and digital feminism to understand practices of solidarity and utopia-making in times of intensified misogyny.

Kedi received her BA majoring in Film and Media and minoring in Global Development Studies from Queen’s University in Canada. She completed her master’s degree in Media and Communication at the London School of Economics (LSE). Before joining the cohort, she also had intern experiences in journalism.
