The ATHENA Women’s Entrepreneurship Summit is hosted by the USC Marshall School of Business and the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies in collaboration with USC Annenberg. 

The theme for this year is “The Power of Women Leaders.” Panels and speakers will demonstrate what it means to be a leader while building ventures and leveling the playing field to advance women in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Confirmed speakers this year are: Lauren Santo Domingo, Chief Brand Officer at Moda Operandi & Tony Florence, Managing General Partner at New Enterprise Associates for a fireside chat moderated by Dean Willow Bay. A second panel with Candace Nelson, Founder of Pizzana & Sprinkles CupcakesCristina Patwa of Enroot Organics, and Ellen Chen of Mendocino Farms will be moderated by Sabrina Garba of Glass Ladder Group. The last panel will be with led and moderated by Julia Boorstin, CNBC senior media and tech correspondent and author of When Women Lead: What They Achieve, Why they Succeed, and How We Can learn from Them with Melissa Hanna of Mahmee and Kim Taylor of Cluster.  

ATHENA brings together a dynamic group of founders, investors and thought leaders around conversations and issues that matter to entrepreneurs at all stages. The mission of ATHENA is to increase female founders, work with women investors and provide opportunities for capital, mentoring and networking.
