Publicity rights, the right to control one's name and image in media and marketing, remains one of the most contentious issues in sports. Ronald Katz was the lead lawyer on a series of major lawsuits over publicity rights for athletes. Mr. Katz will discuss the history of publicity rights arguments and his work in fighting for athletes to control their own image and name.
