1 p.m. 3 p.m.

Wallis Annenberg Hall (ANN), Digital Lounge

Nearly every image you see in marketing and advertising has been edited. In this workshop we’ll explore the secrets of retouching photos, removing unwanted parts of landscapes, clearing up blemishes in portraits, and using the smart tools built into Photoshop to make your retouching easier. We will emphasize non-destructive image manipulation and stay away from quick and easy fixes that are often destructive (permanent changes).

By the end of this workshop, you’ll be able to do the following:

  • Utilize advanced selection methods to mix and match image elements
  • Use healing tools, clone tool, and content aware tools
  • Perform non-destructive editing with Smart Objects and Adjustment Layers

This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC Annenberg operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the University’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or any other prohibited factor.
