'Just show me the news,' writes grad student Lee in L.A. Times

The invasiveness of online pop-up ads prompted graduate journalism student Eugene Lee to write an op-ed, "Popping Off on Pop-Ups," which was published in the December 27 Los Angeles Times. "At home, on my computer, I should be the one playing God, choosing what I see and don't see," Lee wrote. "With pop-ups, I feel I've lost that sense of control and power." Lee originally penned the piece for Professor Bryce Nelson's Media and Society class.
