Where are you from and what were you doing before enrolling in graduate school?

I am originally from Lawrenceville, a suburb of Atlanta, GA. Prior to enrolling in graduate school, I was living and working in Little Rock, AR as a TV host and morning reporter for KATV.

How did you learn of the degree program and why did you choose USC Annenberg?

I started researching arts-specific journalism programs in 2019 and landed on Annenberg’s Specialized Journalism (The Arts) graduate program as the right fit for me. Annenberg was the only program that was willing to build a curriculum around my unique focus for school, even though it didn’t match what other students in the same program typically focus on.

What have you enjoyed the most about the degree program?

I’ve genuinely enjoyed the curriculum and the work assigned in most, if not all, of my classes. I’ve learned a lot of valuable tools to take with me into the workforce following graduation.
