Where are you from and what were you doing before enrolling in graduate school?
Before enrolling in graduate school, I was substitute teaching at my old high school back in my hometown of Dover, Delaware.
How did you learn about the degree program and why did you choose USC Annenberg?
I learned about the degree program when I attended the 2024 National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Convention when I talked to Dalvin Hicks and Miki Turner.
What have you enjoyed most about the degree program?
I’ve enjoyed the great amount of exposure that I gained so far. Whether that was at conferences or events here at Annenberg, I never would have dreamed about the connections I’ve made while I’m here so far.
